A Food & Art Festival

Ceviche Old St Presents: AMAZONIA

We love to share our passion for Peru through art, music and food. This October, we’ll be using all of these elements to present the fascinating world of the Peruvian Amazon at Ceviche Old St Restaurant and Gallery with a festival called AMAZONIA, bringing together the exquisite food of the Amazon and the best contemporary art.

On October 11th, Martin Morales will host an unforgettable launch party to kick off our three-month AMAZONIA festival. Together with world acclaimed guest chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino, we will present an exclusive one-off Amazonian menu introducing new dishes and ingredients in London for the very first time, and will feature on our winter menu as specials until December.

The gallery at Ceviche Old St will present works by Peru’s leading artists working on or in the Peruvian Amazon. Many of these works have never been seen outside of Peru or have been commissioned specifically for this show. They feature works dealing the subjects matter of flora and fauna, Amazonian sustainability, and the trials, tribulations and threats to its people and environment.

Curated by Claudia Trosso and Martin Morales the show includes works by Harry Chavez, Kylla Piqueras, Gino Ceccarelli, Adrian Portugal, Diego Alvarado, Marco Carpio, Leslie Spak, Gisella Stapleton, Darwin Rodriguez, Rember Yahuarcani, Graciela Arias.

Tickets to the Launch Party are very limited so customers are advised to book fast.

Those who miss the party will still have a chance to sample our exclusive Amazonia dishes and visit the exhibition at Ceviche Old St as the Amazonia Festival runs until 22nd December. Book your table now or request a private tour of the exhibition via ART@CEVICHEUK.COM

We would like to give a very warm ‘gracias’ to our sponsors: Delfin Amazon Cruises, Super Foods Peru, Peru Trade and Investment Office in the UK, Pisco 1615 and Despensa Amazónica.
