Casita Andina is a contemporary Peruvian picanteria with a London twist. Our founder Martin Morales grew up eating at picanterias, the family-run restaurants at the roadside in the Peruvian Andes.
Previously named ‘The Little Cottage’, the building has served everyone from West End actors to shopkeepers, market traders and creatives for the past 200 years.
Inspired by the region of Cusco, Casita Andina is place to get away from the crowds of London’s West End. We’re continuing the building’s tradition with an entertaining atmosphere at our counter seating, raw kitchen and our pisco bar.
This is where we pay homage to ‘picanteras’, the women chefs of the Andes who carry the soul of Peruvian food. It’s also where we celebrate the Andes’ stunning world of textiles, contemporary art and crafts through beautiful design, carefully selected unique works and specially commissioned pieces throughout our restaurant.
Casita Andina is full of stories; just look carefully, feel the atmosphere of our treasured little restaurant and as Martin’s grandmother used to say: aquí se cocina con cariño (here we cook with love).
