Andina is where we celebrate the culture and cooking of the Peruvian Andes, bringing the diverse region to life through healthy but utterly delicious dishes, drinks and snacks that leverage the area’s unique produce.
The word ‘andina’ means two things: ingredients from the Andes, but also a woman of the Andean region who was the mother and head of the home, cooking for her family and her community at her picanteria, a family-run, affordable community restaurant serving local people.
Our founder Martin Morales grew up eating at such picanterias and owes his love for cooking and knowledge of many recipes to his ‘Andina’ grandmother. You can find a picture of her on a wall at Andina.
Andina sits in the middle of Shoreditch, one London’s most dynamic neighbourhoods. We’ve created a space serving healthy yet delicious food that’ll nourish your body and your soul throughout the day.
Hang out at our kitchen bar and watch the theatre of cooking and Shoreditch life go by, have a party with friends in our Music Room or sit back in our cool downstairs dining room, where there’s an open raw-food kitchen and cocktail bar.
